[雅思] IELTS考試場所對分數有沒有影響呢?
雅思考試分為聽、說、讀、寫,共四個大項,其中閱讀和聽力測驗有客觀的評分機制,考試地點對考生的分數影響不大,然而口說和寫作方面卻可能存在差異。 Robert老師在下面的文章中會舉例、詳細說明從過去眾多的學生考試經驗裡,在台灣不同的考場應考,的確出現分數上的差異。我們希望這篇文章對正在準備雅思考試的讀者有所幫助!
Dear perspectiv e Ielts exam takers in Taipei,
Dear perspectiv
In
regard to choosing the location at which to take the Ielts exam, I have some
important advice.
[雅思] IELTS exam-takers, avoid bogus IELTS questions on Chinese websites!
Dear Students,
Please avoid bogus
IELTS questions on Chinese websites, and from some other,
less-than-professional schools (補習班/學院).
Here's a typical
extremely foolish, and lacking in consideration, example:
[寫作] Don't misuse "besides"!
One of the most
frustrating errors I see in my clients’ writing is how they misuse the word “besides”.
Apparently in Taiwan
students are taught in school that the term “besides” is synonymous with “in
addition to” or "moreover." This is incorrect. Compare the following sentences:
[寫作] The correct use of "trend"
在雅思的作文考試中,題目常要求考生觀察圖表並用自己的語言傳達圖表呈現的信息,但是有些圖表只是數據紀錄、有些是對照與比較、有些是趨勢走向,因此,我們建議考生在使用"trend"這個字時,應該特別小心。
