Dear friends and clients,

We are sorry to have to announce a raise of many of our fees due to rising overhead costs as well as a realization that we charge far less than any similar service while providing extended or extra benefits for most of our clients. In other words, we have worked too much and too hard and gotten too little in return! 

In my view, if I charge you a penny or a million dollars I will still do my best to offer full service. However, recently I've worked so hard and impaired my health causing me to feel that I have given less than adequate service particularly in regard to turn around times for many recent clients. We apologize for this. 

In our zeal to assist clients we took on too many cases at the end of the UK master’s thesis writing season. In fact, we dealt with seven full theses in a matter of three weeks. It was very hard for us to refuse service to those who urgently requested it but we all live and learn and what I've learned is that it’s both unfair to me as an editor and to those other clients who planned well in advance for me to accept some of those very urgent requests. 

There’s an English saying “the road to hell is paved with good intentions” so this is something that I've come to feel very strongly in the past month. As a note for clients, first we strongly advise that if you have some thesis or lengthy document do not wait until the last weeks to try to finish it and get it proofread and edited. Second, for those who did not get their documents as quickly as I’d have liked we are offering special discounts. However, fortunately there wasn't any one so far that hasn't received their documents late per an actual deadline. 

We recently took a hiatus to allow me to recover my health somewhat and catch up on the backlog of cases. In fact, we need to extend that hiatus for another few weeks, in part due to my poor health. 

So, you may contact us again now and book your cases in advance on a case by case basis. If we feel that we cannot offer adequate service in the time requested we will reject your case sadly. Furthermore, to assist this process, we will send you a  work request form in response to your inquiry that you should be sure to fill out so as to provide complete information for our assessment of your case. 

Currently we are not taking any package clients, meaning those clients who request a package admissions or thesis tutorial service.

And one last note in the past we have always had a pay-upon-full-completion policy in regard to payment for services. Now however we request that any consultation fees are paid within 3 working days of the initial consultation while the remainder of fees may be paid upon completion of the case and your full satisfaction. Unlike other editors or agencies we appreciate your feedback and try to answer all of your questions in so far as we can; doing this (unlike other services) has required a very great deal of our time, hence, the introduction of fees and slight rise in prices.

GENERAL LANGUAGE CONSULTATION

$30 per “hour”

All written cases are assessed for the merits of each document’s composition.

($10 dollar minimum case fee in regard to all our services.)

TRANSLATION SERVICES

for general or academic purposes $.07 per character

PROOFREADING and EDITING SERVICES

General English Proofreading and Editing Service –

rates range from $0.01 to $0.035 per word based on merit

General Chinese Proofreading and Editing Service –

rates from $0.01 to $0.035 per word

Academic Essay Writing (including Ielts task 1&2) Basic Proofreading–

base rate of $0.027 per word based on merit
Special tutorial consultation may be scheduled at your request ($30 per session)

Academic Articles and Theses Proofreading and Editing Full Service –

base rate of $0.035 per word based on merit
General consultation fees of $30 (may be waived for some cases)
Please note: we have dealt with many urgent cases last month. Any document must be submitted to us at the agreed date. Failure to do so, could result in our rejection of the case summarily or classifying it as an urgent case (+50% fee)

Academic Applications Single Document Proofreading and Editing Service –

Fees for all documents start at a base rate of $0.04 per word.
Case consultation fee of $30
Minimum case fees (on any cases whose total charge is less than $10 -- 
$10 will be charged, prior to payment surcharges)

Individual document processing fee ($5)

Re-drafting fees ($5, 10 or 20 according to the amount of work needed) 

Academic Applications Consultative Proofreading and Editing Full Service Package –

Master's level consultation fees (at case's start and finish) $40 
PhD level extended consultations and feedback $60
